The Story Behind Our Events
Time and again we are shown how a single day can impact your life. One good day can make everything smooth, but one bad day can cause ripples that follow you through your life.
Each and every one of the charity partners we have chosen represent the impact of a single day in one of our team members lives. But it isn’t that single day that defines us, it is what we do after that day – what we do on the 25th hour that determines the path we will follow.
Each of our events represents what we are doing on that 25th hour to honor those that came before us.
A Timeline of Our Events
This year we will be splitting our efforts between Extra Life and our new partnership with Jasper’s Game Day. Table donations will be going to support the local chapter of a teen suicide prevention charity and help line.
For our first dedicated event for Underdog Pet Rescue, we will be running the Season Two retired Epic, Mulmaster Undone. Join us for the first time Mulmaster was destroyed. Yes, I said first time!
In our first event for Stack Up, we ran the retired Season 1 Epic, Corruption at Kryptgarden. A dragon mask was claimed and $1,050 was raised for Stack Up to go to the vets.
During the course of the convention, players donated $880 for Underdog Pet Rescue. Our donations paid for the medical treatment and to subsidize the adoption fees for 3 senior dogs. All of which were adopted shortly after.
40 players ran 5 tables of Tomb of Annihilation for 24 straight hours, earning a unique cert for their Adventurers League characters. Over the course of the night, including the corporate matching, over $11,000 was raised for Extra Life.
